On my skin once the opening faded it got really cloying and what I assume is the ambroxan really started to show through. This fragrance is very refreshing with that aquatic soapiness, has a slight touch of sweetness to it, musky saltiness in the background with salty ocean aquatic in the front. However if you are new at collecting and need to add a fresh fragrance to your collection I would recommend this one ! To me, the strength of the juniper and the woody notes really help to separate this version from the original. Incredibly pleasing and surprisingly versatile, Light Blue Intense knows how to capture a moment, even how to create one.

Personally, it smells like a fruity hospital, but after a while that theme starts to die down into this pleasant grapefruit note.I so wanted to like this as really rate the italian love version but all I could smell was fish on this and had to scrub it off. Don't get me wrong, it smells pleasant (similar to Eau Intense but toned down a bit), but it's hardly there. A light, cool lemony-aromatic accord at the top - perfect for summer days and evenings - which sadly dissipates after a few scant minutes. Longevity was really poor in my testings at 3-5 hours, max, with less than an hour of noticeable projection. As its name says, this is an ideal fragrance to use in summer and spring, for casual use, for daily activities, school, outings with friends, etc.

Suffice it to say I find this flanker acceptable, but not in the least bit interesting, which is slightly more than what I thought of the original Light Blue Pour Homme (2007), but not enough for me to wear or recommend. Citrusy, green (pine vibe, never smelled a cypress tbh) and when it dries down, a soft wood comes out, similar to the wood in Dior Homme EdT, giving it a more masculine vibe. It opens with a rush of salty sea water and juicy grapefruit, accompanied by a touch of green juniper and mandarin; all enveloped around a musky base.

It is increased in every proportion, which leads to nuance that you simply don't get in the primary version. If you are spraying yourself with this on the beach or close to the sea, you will get zero compliments because people will assume that this is the natural smell of the air around and it really is. This was mostly because I had read too many reviews on this fragrance here on fragrantica, but I bought after some months, right before summer was about to start. To me it was cloying - not in an over the top way but it's not something I'd want to be around on a hot summer day - too ambery-sickly sweet for my liking. It’s really like he has sneaked in the dry opening accord of og Acqua di Gio, but it just smells like a cheaper copycat of it.
