Readers beware: this collection of terrifying tales is enoughto unsettle even the most hardened Five Nights at Freddy'sfans. This also seems to be the case in the novel trilogy, as The Silver Eyes is stated to take place in 1995, and takes place during the 10th anniversary of the incident.

Scott said some are directly related to the games and others aren't, and there was a thread on Freddit discussing what this could mean, but I'm just going to enjoy the three stories I've read so far as "loosely connected to the games.Listeners beware: This collection of terrifying tales is enough to unsettle even the most hardened Five Nights at Freddy's fans.

However, Into the Pit's role in the Stitchwraith Stingers series was not made clear until much later in the series.According to Scott Cawthon's update on Steam Community, the release date of the book was apparently supposed to be on March 2020, but was changed for an unknown reason. A kid named Chip bumps into him and introduces Oswald to his friend Mike, passing someone in a yellow rabbit suit. His mother’s job at the hospital is steady and his grandma needs help sometimes, so his dad gets a part-time job at the Snack Space. Unfortunately, this is where the true nightmare begins for young Oswald, as the horrors he's witnessed follow him home.

It was however still present in early copies, together with the illustrations of the other two stories. The Five Nights at Freddy’s: Fazbear Frights novels were explicitly labeled as “non-canon” during their original release. I swear, when I sell my first short story, I will send the rec program some money for popsicles along with a long-overdue apology note! Oswald mentions a streaming-service exclusive Zendrelix reboot titled "Zendrelix 2020," which leads into the CGI vs puppets debate, unlike the original after Oswald and his dad watched the reboot on basic cable. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Q*bert, and Galaga are all mentioned as being in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Over his summer vacation, Oswald goes into the pit to play with Chip and Mike, doing his best to keep up with conversations relevant to 1985 and trying hard not to talk about anything from the future.

That date is August 8, 2024, so perhaps we'll have another trailer in the next couple of months and the game sometime in early August. But in the twisted world of Five Nights at Freddy’s, their hearts’ deepest desires have an unexpected cost. My only complaint is that while this story did a neat job incorporating time travel into a horror tale, the plot involving Oswald's circa-1985 pals didn't go anywhere.Oswald goes to bed early, but when the yellow thing sits down to eat breakfast the next day Oswald is horrified to learn that everyone sees it as his dad. Oswald concludes that this is what Jeff’s Pizza used to be, and he looks over at a wall to see murals and a name: Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Into the Pit has a very interesting concept, one that almost seems like an episode of the Twilight Zone. Scott Cawthon is the author of the bestselling video game series Five Nights at Freddy's, and while he is a game designer by trade, he is first and foremost a storyteller at heart. Wasn't familiar with mega cat studios but looking into their past releases I see they've been churning out tons of 16-bit style games over the years, none of which look appealing to me.
